This low-cost ethernet solution for Arduino and many other microcontrollers is Arduino ENC28J60 library compatible and easy to use. Arduino pin connection is in a separate photo.

You can find the EtherCard library here. The EtherBright library is here. The newest library and perhaps the easiest to use given its method compatibility with the standard ethernet library, is uipethernet and can be found here.
