We had lots of questions about our kit so we've put this page together to give some simple guidance as to which kit would best suit your teaching needs. We've also provided links to our kits that would suit certain age/skill levels. Let's start with the Kit Comparison guide. Here you'll find a simple check box column of what each kit offers. You'll notice that each kit build upon the previous one, offering more items, or upgraded items, building up to our Ultimate Kit. Note that we do not recommend our kits at the Elementary ages. Middle School is a good place to start and High School for the more complex applications.
We are constantly updating and adding to our tutorials page, offering you lots of reference material that can be printed and followed in class, or on any mobile device. Use the link above to take a look at approximately 100 Arduino tutorials.
The Pro Plus is a great Kit for beginners, and doesn't require soldering. It offers a mini servo, so many lessons can evolve from this Kit. Great for teaching all years!
The Deluxe Kit offers a full size metal gear servo and a stepper motor with board - so this Kit is "beefier" than the Pro Plus, but can also be used for beginners, as it doesn't require soldering. This is the kit we most recommend for schools as it will last longer and costs only $20 more than the Pro Plus!
The Ultimate Kit earns it's name as it has everything a College level, Intermediate to Advanced skilled student that knows how to solder and wants to get into their own prototyping board building. This Kit is perfect for a full curriculum based on Digital Electronics.
This Kit offers both the Arduino Uno and the Raspberry Pi, offering you the ability to explore both worlds the Uno and Pi have to offer. This Kit will enable lots of learning and project building. You won't find this Kit anywhere else. If you can't make your mind up between Raspberry Pi and Arduino go for this one!
Our Robotics Kit is a scholastic favorite as it has a specific goal in mind: a robotics type smart car that can sense obstruction and avoid. This kit does require some minor soldering, but has been used at middle school to collegiate levels.
